It is a traditional tool made from the wood of sturdy trees such as mahogany, humeidh, and joughan. It consists of three parts: the seat (jalasa), the upright (qa’im), and the flap (dalfa). It is bound with cow or camel leather and placed on the camel’s hump to provide a comfortable ride. It is adorned with studs and buckles for decorative purposes. This saddle was produced by the camel-herding community.
It was sold to the Shikan Museum by Salih Aljalakh.
